As we cant quite get you everywhere, we called in for some help!

We work alongside some great shuttle/ferry services to get you to some other areas of our backyard. To get you to Mt.Cook & Stewart Island we reach out to “our mates” who help us out.

To get to Mt.Cook -

To get to Mt.Cook you will need to hop-off in a place called Twizel (this will be on the day you leave Queenstown to head to Lake Tekapo), you will then be taken out to Mt.Cook with Mt.Cook Connections to spend the night. The following day you will be brought back to Twizel in time to be picked up by the Kiwi Experience bus. You will then continue your journey to Lake Tekapo, where you will spend the night, before going to Christchurch the following day. So when you are planning your trip around New Zealand and you want to stop in Mt.Cook make sure you add on an extra night. You will also need to make sure to book you own accommodation in Mt.Cook.

Please note that this service is seasonal - Summer season only. Check with your Driver Guide if they are running if you are interested.

To get to Stewart Island -

If you are keen to get to the smallest of the 3 main Islands in New Zealand, our mates at Bottom Bus can help you out. You will need to arrange your own ferry or plane ticket to and from Stewart Island, but Bottom Bus (Deep South) will be able to point you in the right direction. To visit Stewart Island you will need a full day, so make sure to book an extra nights accommodation in Invercargil. You could even spend the night on the Island, which you will then need to add on an extra two days to your Deep South trip.

Stewart Island

If you're keen to check out Mt.Cook or Stewart Island, have a yarn (chat) to your driver about how to book one of 'our mates' services.
